Stasis

 

"Stasis" is a series of self portraits combined with 3D elements & digital manipulation that explores the ever evolving nature of identity in a productivity-obsessed culture.

Through layering, distorting, and compositing self portraits into virtual scenes that could never really exist, this series questions how modern environments shape our sense of presence, identity, and worth, particularly in an ever isolating digital world obsessed with non-stop growth and the pursuit of "more".

The resulting artworks form a dialogue between fragmented layers of identity and invites the viewer to confront tensions between authentic self-expression, the "ideal self", and the pressure to constantly produce.
